How to care for pewter: This pewter item will tarnish very slowly & requires little maintenance. If you wish to polish your pewter, most metal polishes can be used. Because pewter is a soft metal, mildly abrasive metal polishing creams can buff out scratches & bring luster back to a frequently used piece.
This pewter item is dishwasher safe. When using a dishwasher, please use the washing & drying settings with the lowest heat settings. Neither is to exceed 135 F. We recommend liquid dishwasher soap. To clean your pewter by hand, wash in warm water using liquid dish soap. Dry the pewter completely in order to prevent the water droplets from spotting the pewter.
